“Parallels” is the series of graph works in which different civilizations are reflected. This is a new vision of well-known locations on Earth. The concept of works is depicted by geometrical figures. Each figure, counted by nature with mathematical exactness (carried out by me on the level of sub consciousness) represents the most ancient places on Earth. But the form here is not abstract. In this context simple geometry turns into symbols. Each symbol has special characteristics of this or that space, show its essence. All symbols can be read and are very clear. The task was not to complicate the understanding but, on the contrary, to show and reveal versatile comprehension of this or that object.

In “Egypt. The beginning” simple oval, slightly angled, shows an egg – the beginning of life, which is very precarious. We only have to guess if we will be able to wait for the “beginning” before it falls down.

In “Atlántida. Seen and unseen” rectangular forms symbolize an arch as the way to another civilization. The sun-set leaves the shadow of this arch on water, which means that everything is unstable. Atlántida is disappearing and so is the boundary between seen and unseen.

In “Egypt. Finished” the lying cross is at the foot of pyramids. The pyramid is Golgotha where Jesus carried his cross. Why is it “finished”? Because it is the end to the material and the beginning to the spiritual. And it is not occasionally that Jesus visited Egypt at the beginning of his life.

“Tibet. Similar” – two pyramids. One of the pyramids is the matrix by which everything is created on Earth. And it is in Tibet that the mountains are so high that they are united with the sky. It is here that the similarity is created. There is the arch before us – it is the way to Shambala. However, it is impossible to be found. And it is worth believing that this pyramid exists there.

“India. The season of tropical rains” – the form resembling Indian constructions. But it is raining inside this construction, it is impossible to hide of this rain. It is our karma. We have to gather everything drop by drop.

“Russia. Reflection” – two triangles connected at the feet. One of their tops touches the sky and reflects the sun rays, another goes down to water, making circles on its surface. And this diamond connects the sky and the earth, structuring stable construction.

“Japan. Asymmetry” – Mount Fuji and two shapes reminding columns (one is big and another is small) they make up some asymmetry. It is not the symbol here now. It is the condition of eternal contemplation of the asymmetry and dissolution is nature which created this asymmetry.

“Europe. Symmetry”, this is here that everything is ordered. The surface of the picture is divided into two halves by vertical and horizontal lines, creating a cross. Apparently, this is the residual of crusades. Two triangles, tightly coming into each other, make up a form that resembles an hourglass which measures the minutes of our civilization.

“Mexico. Unavoidable” – a circle shape falls down on something which resembles the bottom part of a guillotine. The way of inevitability of any civilization. Mexico appears in “Parallels” in a circle shape which is the symbol of the Sun. That is why next to “Unavoidable” there is “Mexico. Eternal” and “Mexico. The Next”. This triptych symbolizes the civilization of Inca which disappeared and left a great deal of riddles and also predicted us the future.
